Roberta Pinna

PhD. Artist, Art adviser and Art manager, specializing in Contemporary Art.

I work as artist, art adviser and art manager. I guide collectors and investors in navigating the complex contemporary art market, in order to help them to build up or manage a diverse investment portfolio.

Art has been literally my best friend since I was a small child, and it remains my great passion in life. I was fortunate to grow up in a family of creatives and entrepreneurs where I  was always encouraged to display imagination, originality and independence in every area of my life, from a very early age.  After graduating with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, I subsequently completed an MA in History of Art, before deciding to deepen my art education at the Accademia di Belle Arti. Not entirely satisfied with the somewhat limited scope of the Italian art education system, I moved to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts. In the United States, I tailored my study plan towards my own needs and interests by combining art classes with art business courses. After my time at the School of Visual Arts, I then studied Art as an Alternative Investment at Sotheby’s in London.
